Prevention Supervisor Bootcamp

Course Description

This course equips participatns to be able to effecively lead prevention teams by applying core supervision, hiring and leadership skills to support staff performance, promote well-being, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based programming is implemented with fidelity. 

Objectives

Across six modules, you will learn to:

1. 1. Apply prevention and supervision principles to support staff performance and ensure programs are implemented with fidelity to evidence-based practices. 

   2. Demonstrate effective supervisory skills, including hiring, communicaiton, coaching, and performance management, to build and sustain a competent prevention workforce. 
   3. Utilize leadership strategies to foster team engagement, support staff well-being, and guide continuous improvement within prevention programs. 

Course Length

The entire course will take about 4 hours to complete in one sitting; however, you have the ability to save your progress and return at any time.

Course Materials

All students will receive access to key terms used throughout the course, accessible activity companion guides, and a generalized course resource guide. Students will have access to materials upon completion of the respective sections and can be re-accessed at any time after completion. 

After all modules are complete and the survey is submitted, the downloadable Certificate of Completion will be unlocked.
