Introduction to Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

There are 3 modules in this course:

Module 1: Overview of ACT

Module 2: Day-to-Day Operations

Module 3: Shared Case Management

Objectives for this course:

1. Discuss the basic principles of the ACT model of care for people with serious mental illness. 

2. Gain an understanding of referral, admission, and discharge to and from an ACT program.

3. Describe shared case management and how this approach is used in an ACT program's treatment planning.

This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
